Public Art Sykes' public art has both depth and variety. Major projects include outdoor murals in parks and on school buildings, as well as interior spaces. She works with schools, community groups, non-profit arts and civic organizations, landscape designers, and governmental agencies. Collaborating agencies include the Chicago Public Art Group, Beacon Street Gallery, Chicago Park District, Chicago Department of Transportation, Chicago Scores, Gallery 37 and the Illinois Arts Council, among others. |
