Franklin Fine Arts School Mosaic Mural

Funded by Open Lands Project, Oppenheimer Foundation and Florsheim Foundation, 7th and 8th grade art students at Franklin School collaborated with Sykes in the design and construction of this 60 square-foot broken tile mosaic. The mosaic's theme celebrates diversity and freedom and relates to the school's newly installed Japanese Garden. The vibrant colors and ascending spirals signify the growth and openness Franklin students valued in their school environment and surrounding community.
