Ginny Sykes Tryptich of Lock

Sykes continues her examination of historically gendered archetypes and symbols from within a feminist discourse. Richly layered drawings, collages, and prints reconcile figuration with abstraction and suggest alternate, more complex, metaphoric readings of such classical and spiritual themes as identity, sexuality, loss, and transformation.
